Production of Activated Carbon
DCCC Activated Carbon is manufactured through the process of carbonization and activation of carbonaceous materials with a specified temperature. Source of its raw material is coconut shell taken from copra manufacture. Raw charcoal is produced by placing the coconut shell in an oven-like condition where oxygen presence is controlled.
The manufacture of DCCC’s activated carbon employs the most sophisticated technology of the vertical type fluidized bed steam activation process. Under this technology, extreme process control is maintained from the start of raw material feeding up to the finished product, to ensure stability and uniformity of quality.
